I took a 2 hour train ride to London to visit the City of York. When I arrived I immediately saw the hop on/off bus but had to come back to this later. Lunch was on my mind!

While walking around a bit I ran into a restaurant called the Fat Hippo. I was thinking, with a name like this they have got to have some good food. And they did not disappoint. I had one of the best hamburgers while being in Europe (2nd best). Most times the burger meat is unrecognizable and tastes nothing like the ground beef we have in the States. But I’ve come to terms with knowing the meat is not ground beef, but I’ve learned to read the description on the menu a little more. The description for a hamburger must at least state it is beef. I’ve seen some that have no description, and the texture of the meat was awful! It’s better to stick with shrimp, salmon and chicken.
