While in London, I took a 2 hour train ride to city of Manchester. I was excited to go to Manchester. I have been a fan of the Manchester City football (soccer) team and was hoping to get team sweat shirt. Actually, I have a girl crush on the coach, Pep Guardiola. I used to watch a show called ‘All or Nothing’, which highlighted sports teams. One year they highlighted Manchester City and my love affair with this team began. They showed this feisty and sexy Italian man talking to the team and I was drawn in. I still watch them play every now and then.
I was a bit surprised when I got to Manchester because Google had indicated that it was an industrial city. This made me think of a lot of smoke stacks and mediocre residential living. The city was nothing like this. It was actually a really nice and vibrant city. I got a chance to walk around, enjoy some good food, and also ride the hop on/off tour bus.
I didn’t get the sweat shirt, but I was glad to have spent some time in the city.
