While in Edinburgh, I took a 45 minute train ride for a day trip into Glasgow. It was a bit cooler in the city and the people’s accent was a lot stronger than in Edinburgh. Even though they were speaking English, you have to really listen to hear what’s actually being said. I’ve been told that my accent sounds nice. What accent???? LOL

When I left the train station, I only had to walk a block or two to get to get to the main “touristy” area. There were the usual souvenir and retail stores along with several places to eat. On the walk,  I saw a TGI Friday’s and made a mental note to come back later for lunch.

After walking through the area I stumbled upon the hop on/off tour bus. This is the best mode of transportation when you have a limited amount of time in a city.
